Balance Wellspace offers 2 types of personal training:
In small group training, small groups of friends, colleagues, or family can get together for training sessions that are customized for the group needs. Small group training combines cardiovascular training with strength and conditioning training. Many people find that small group training is both cost effective and highly motivating.
We have several small group training options available that will allow participants to work with friends or colleagues or with other pariticpants with similar needs. This helps with motivation, as well as save some money on personal training. These small group trainings are organized based on participants' goals - but will combine cardiovascular training as well as overall strength and conditioning.

In individual training, the trainer and client have one on one sessions that are completely customized for the client's needs. Most individual training sessions include a combination of cardiovascular training and strength and conditioning training.
The personal trainer and client work together to create a personalized fitness plan. The goal in creating personal training workouts is to make a plan that the client can stick with. The personal trainer will get to know their client's strengths and weaknesses over time, which allows for even more customized workouts to be planned.
When the personal trainer creates workouts, they keep the ultimate goals foremost in mind. This allows the client to achieve fitness goals while having fun. If the client has a specific goal, for example losing 10 pounds before their high school reunion, the trainer can create a plan that gets the results desired. Sometimes the client's goal is simply to maintain their current level of fitness, and in this case the personal trainer will strive to keep the client engaged and excited about fitness even when they aren't trying to lose weight.
Working with a personal trainer can be beneficial for many reasons. One of the main reasons that people fail to maintain their desired fitness levels is lack of motivation. Many people have gym memberships that they rarely use because they don't have the motivation to drive to the gym. With a personal trainer the motivation is much stronger.
